Why didn't my camera parking session end automatically upon exit?

There may be a few reasons why the camera parking session didn't end automaticllay when you drove out. The most common reasons are: 

• Dirt, snow, or mud covering your license plate.

• Facility cameras that are dirty or blocked.

• Entering or exiting the area too quickly, or tailgating the vehicle in front, which prevents the camera from getting a clear shot of your plate

Note: Please note that EasyPark does not own or operate the cameras in these facilities. Therefore, we do not have direct insight into why a specific camera might fail to record an exit.

How do I make sure my camera parking session is ended correctly?

To reduce the chances of this happening:

• Keep your license plate clearly visible: Dirt, snow, or other obstructions can prevent the camera from correctly registering your exit.

• Exit at a steady, slow speed: Driving too fast when leaving the parking area may make it harder for the camera to read your license plate.

• Enable app notifications: Turning on notifications in the EasyPark app helps you stay informed when parking starts and ends.
